Create The Confident, Clear, God-Centered Life You Crave
Even When You Feel Surrounded by Failures and Constant Disappointment

Create The Confident, Clear, God-Centered Life You Crave
Even When You Feel Surrounded by Failures and Constant Disappointment
Are you ready to...
Break free from feelings of helplessness and powerlessness?
Gain greater clarity on your life’s difficulties and how to begin to handle them in new ways?
Write a new chapter to your life story with YOU as the HERO instead of the victim?
Learn to live from your CORE Values instead of your emotions?
Even if you don’t feel ready to make the changes you know you need to make, you know you’re in pain. Your life, your marriage or other significant relationship isn’t working.
You feel scared, confused and you already know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results. Please don’t do that.
This next year can be different.
Your group session time together with your coach will be interactive and personal. You will have an opportunity to submit your own personal goals and be coached to take your first steps or your next steps toward positive growth and godly change.
Over the past 30 years my coaches and I have worked with hundreds if not thousands of women who want to get whole, holy and healthy... and we know how to help you. I created this six month group experience for Christian women who are ready to do their own work to be empowered to change.

This once-a-year group is your chance to work intimately with one of my expert coaches in a small and intimate setting.
This Program Is Designed to Help You Step by Step:

Discover the beliefs you have that keep you confused, afraid and stuck.

Learn to walk in the truth rather than stay stuck in fear or resentment. Also, how to stop reacting emotionally and learn to respond wisely.

Confidently know and speak your own thoughts and feelings in a constructive way – even when you’re angry.

Discover the deeper YOU God created you to be/become. This will help you learn to take new risks, even when you feel afraid.

Honor yourself by understanding your limits and boundaries

Learn to invite others in your life into healthy change so that destructive patterns may be broken.
If you are a woman who is sick of staying silent, placating and pretending in your most significant relationships but aren’t quite sure how to make changes in a God-honoring way, this group is for you. My coaches will give you the tools, the support, and the steps to make those changes you need and want to make. Change your story, change your life.

It’s true, everyone is super busy these days. But we DO make time when something is important to us. If you were diagnosed with cancer, you WOULD MAKE TIME for treatment so that you would live.
Your health is important to you, to God, and hopefully to those you love. In the same way, your inner life, your soul, your mind, your spirit, your emotions and the way you do life and relationships are essential to your future well-being. If you don’t want to keep living the same way in this new year, it’s time for you to prioritize you.
The group coaching session is 90 minutes every other week. In between your coaching group sessions, you could put in another 90 minutes - perhaps in three (30-minute) sections. First, 30 minutes to do your homework from the previous session. Second, 30 minutes to watch the new video for the upcoming session and third, 30 minutes to practice some of what you are learning.
90 Minutes each week for six months to change the way you see yourself, see the world and handle your emotions? LIFE-CHANGING.
It’s true. Empowered to Change is an investment in you. Your well-being. Your future life story. Your children’s future well-being.
Women who have been concerned about the cost have found multitudes of creative ways to get the funds to pay for it. And, by doing so discovered, even before class began, that they were more resourceful, competent, and creative than they believed (or were told). The saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there becomes a way.”
Becoming equipped and empowered to become a new you, one that you’re most proud of, is priceless.
It’s true; change is hard. One of the first things you’ll learn in Empowered to Change is that you create your future story based on your current beliefs. When you tell yourself you can’t, you won’t. But the truth is, God says you can. “He who has begun a good work will complete it.” (Philippians 1:6). And to do so, God requires your cooperation.
You’re called to learn how to put off your old self and learn to put on your new self (Ephesians 4:22-24). This is your work to do, to grow, to mature in your faith. And it’s much easier to do it in a group with other women who are learning and practicing these same skills together. If you do the work, you will change.
Although there will be a number of women in the group who are struggling with destructive relationships, the emphasis in this group coaching program is NOT on your relationships. It’s on you. Your internal work. Your beliefs, your habits, your triggers, your emotions, and the ways you habitually handle the challenges and obstacles that are in your life story (whatever they are).
The group coaching process is an opportunity to get to know yourself better and become the you that God made you to be, and you most want to become instead of staying stuck in old fears, bad habits, resentful reactions and shutdown mode. Once you can learn to pause, become more self-aware, and respond in new ways, then you become free to shape new outcomes in the external life story you are creating.
Your group session time together with your coach will be interactive and personal. You will have an opportunity to submit your own personal goals and be coached to take your first steps or your next steps toward positive growth and godly change.
Each group coaching session will be 90 minutes long. We use Zoom so that you can connect with the members of your small group and have the opportunity to interact.
Your commitment to be a part of this group is six (6) months. You will meet with your small group for twelve (12) coaching sessions, beginning in January and ending in June.

Members in This Program Enjoy Access To:

Two (2) 90-minute LIVE group Zoom video meetings per month
These live video meetings are interactive and personal. They focus on the particular teaching material for that session and how to apply and practice it in your particular situation. You will have a chance to ask your coach live questions, practice skills, and get immediate feedback. (It's preferable if you watch the teaching video PRIOR to your live Zoom group session).

Lifetime Access to Recordings of Group Sessions
Have to miss a session? Need to "arrive" late or "leave" early? Not to worry, you'll receive a recording of each LIVE group session for you to listen to what you missed or to re-listen at a later date. Live attendance is preferred, but we know life happens sometimes, and you may have to miss it.

Private Facebook Group
Membership in the Facebook group is exclusive to participants in this group so that you can support each other during the week as well as ask the coaches questions if you get stuck between sessions. Your lifetime access to this Facebook group will become a place to receive feedback, ask for prayer and track your wins along the way.

Regular Homework Assignments and Handouts
These assignments will take you to the next step of personal and relational growth. You will have lifetime access to these assignments and handouts, which allows you to revisit and get refreshed anytime you want.

Video Teaching
The week you do not have a LIVE group coaching session will be the ideal time to review the upcoming teaching video to prepare for your group coaching session. Each video comes with a handout to take notes. You receive lifetime access to the teaching videos to review as you need them in the future.
HEAR WHAT WOMEN, JUST LIKE YOU, HAVE EXPERIENCED...
“I learned my truth and I am standing in my truth and speaking my truth. I am able to stand strong and it feels really good and freeing. I loved all the sections about speaking up for yourself in a Godly way.”
“I’m able to finally pinpoint where my emotions are coming from and how to take a step back. I’m so much better when things are starting to escalate. I’m able to slow down and not let my thoughts take control. I am finally able to fully accept myself.”

A Taste Of What You’ll Learn:
How to Respond Wisely
In this session, you will learn the difference between responding wisely and reacting emotionally by practicing the powerful tool of self-awareness. You will also learn to observe yourself without judgment while allowing yourself to be in the moment. You will gain greater clarity into different parts of YOU and which part of you decides.
By practicing these powerful tools, you will notice thoughts and feelings that are out of alignment with responding wisely and being your best self. You will no longer be reacting from fear or unidentified lies but now growing in your ability to handle stress and respond wisely.
Tools to Manage Triggers
To write a new story, you must learn to manage the old one. Triggers are the activators of our old story. Learning to recognize and manage them empowers you to not be controlled by them.
You will learn and practice several techniques for grounding your heart, mind and body, leading you into thoughtful and determined courses of action and calm body and spirit.
Over-Functioning and Enabling
This teaching cuts through the Biblical confusion. You can be loving without enabling or over functioning. You will have the opportunity to practice speaking up in preparation for some of your most challenging moments. We want you to be empowered to be bold and discerning when engaging in challenging and conflictual conversations.
Boundaries, Consequences, and Good Self-Care
A healthy woman is one who knows who she is as well as her limitations. She does not feel guilty taking good care of herself because she knows that self-care empowers her to be her best. Learning to set good boundaries with one’s self and others creates healthier and stronger relationships.
In this session, you will learn what a boundary is and is not and how you enforce your boundaries with natural consequences. Imagine stepping forward with a clear sense of what is yours to own, no longer being over-responsible for others and activities that are not meant for you to carry.
Stop dancing The Destructive Dance - The Karpman Triangle
Healthy relational dynamics require us to understand both healthy dynamics that serve the relationship well and those dynamics that are dysfunctional. In this session, you will learn a specific model for understanding key ways in which you get “stuck” in destructive relational dances. Imagine having clarity around what is actually happening, choosing to step out of confusion and deciding how you want to dance differently. In this session, you will gain further tools for thinking and acting differently when you experience these dynamics,
Build Your Big Circle Self
Discovering your authentic self provides the internal compass to life and vitality. This will be an opportunity to discover what God has put inside of you that is most important for you to live out, as well as grounding you to step out of the destructive dance. You will learn to live more consistently through your big circle by choosing rather than reacting, no longer being a victim or rescuer.

What Others Have Said...
“YAY! I LOVED the first Empowered to Change group experience and am still benefiting from the FB community.
Do it again please! Whatever it was you did before-- the Lord is continuing to use it!)
“I’m a slow learner so the six month duration was very important to me…
but more than that-- half a year is long enough to get to know each other a little bit online as a group. (Or at least to go through stuff with each other…) And I really liked it that the FB page didn’t shut down after our six months were over. That’s been cool too...
“During the past 11 months the group has shared that FB page, it’s turned into a little community we can bop in and out of when time permits.
(Even the ones who dropped out seem to stop in every once in a while…) Although other ‘real time’ support groups are important, there’s something about an online place to go that’s really helpful after being isolated for so long-- especially when it requires writing in order to communicate.” — Woman in a difficult marriage
“To be honest, I was concerned that my story or questions wouldn’t be relevant to the other members of the group - I thought it was really just me going through this.
After joining, quickly I knew my coach was there to help and support all of us. As I listened to others I realized their stories often related in some way to mine. It really opened my eyes. So, I began to speak up, knowing my story might speak to them in some way too. My coach has an easy going way to get to the point and help you stay on track. I’m so glad I took the chance!”
— Woman in a destructive marriage
“I learned some valuable lessons.
Knowing Core Values (who I am) is different than my fickle feelings and thoughts is huge for me. Avoiding ‘what if’ thinking and ‘worse case scenario disease’ will also be helpful to me. Difference between acknowledging and accepting is good for me to know. I acknowledged the problems 10 years ago, but have only moved closer to accepting them in the last year. Being responsible for my well-being is new to me. Giving up the hope of change in my husband has come very slowly. Grieving currently as this is sinking in. Class helped me see a lot of things. Trusting God to work it all ‘into’ me. I pray it will move me forward. I need hope for me and kids.”
— Pamela, Group participant
“Before Empowered To Change, there was a sense of fear and uneasiness to focus on myself, I’m sure a result of the years of abuse.
However, all that changed when I started. All of a sudden I saw just how far from healthy I was. I was uneasy and fearful all the time. As I listened to the bravery of the women and saw that my coach really invested and cared, I began to warm up to being “Empowered to Change”. If you are thinking about joining - I would say to go for it! The instruction is great and the support of the other women in the same sort of boat is validating and encouraging.”
— Group participant
