Everyone faces problems, and it is likely that we can help people more than we realize. You have a true heart of a helper and service, but sometimes the people we are trying to help might seem bigger than we can handle.
But take heart. Christ wants us to support each other in wise and correct ways. I’ve put together some of my best resources to empower you to keep helping those around you in the best way.

In regards to wolves in sheep’s clothing, I have been worked with a woman who is trying to love and care for her elderly, Christian mother. There are layers of long term verbal abuse from the aging parent throughout their relationship. Boundaries gave been set by the individual with her mother, however, the elderly mother is becoming more feeble and demanding the care that is stated in the Bible to care for the widows of the world. She is using scripture in the means to attack and control. This has not been uncommon in the relationship in the past it was common practice. The elderly widow refuses to make changes in her life to lessen her stress by moving to maintenanece free property or less upkeep, but in turn is expecting this client to care for her 5 acre property needs and 3000 sq ft home.
This individual is also dealing with many life issues herself. Paid counseling is not an option at the moment.
What and where should I advise this individual to draw strength from the word and decide a plan to help her mom.
I wish you would recognize more……that many men are being abused and that this is not just a problem for women.
